New Rochelle is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New Rochelle is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. I am extremely disappointed with the service at this restaurant. We came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and they did not make us feel special or appreciated. This is the problem—restaurants start out as little gems, and then once they get popular, they lose their sense of service and authenticity. The money gets to them, and they forget that the power is in the customers. Without customers, there is no business, and without business, there is no staff. I ordered a $34 oxtail that was served without any vegetables on the plate. When I asked the waiter about it, I was informed that I would have to pay extra. That was very disappointing. I can’t be upset with the workers because they are just carrying out their duties. However, a word of advice: if you are trying to present yourself as an upscale restaurant, please include vegetables with your entrées instead of charging customers extra. I am officially putting this restaurant in the category of a “wannabe boujee” establishment.

My experience at Krave Restaurant was excellent. I went to celebrate my birthday, and from the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed. My hostess, Kim, made sure I had a special seat just for me, which I really appreciated. My server, Lloyd, was attentive, professional, and provided outstanding service throughout the evening. To top it off, the chef even came out to greet me and ask how my steak was. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection—exactly how I wanted it. If you’re reading this, I highly recommend Krave Restaurant in New Rochelle. It was a wonderful birthday experience.

I had the responsibility of picking a restaurant for a job function and of course I picked Krave, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The oxtail fell off the bone, Rasta pasta and shrimp linguine was a hit! The snapper and branzino was just as impressive, and seasoned with authentic Jamaican flavors that really stood out. The appetizers were a great way to kick things off—from the calamari, peppered shrimp, jerk chicken tacos; chefs kiss! The drinks were well-crafted, refreshing, and complemented the meal perfectly. Not to mention it’s the best damn Rum Punch. What really elevated the whole experience was the service and atmosphere. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. The vibe inside Krave was incredible—great music, high energy, and just an all-around feel-good, lively environment that made you want to stay and enjoy the moment. Overall, Krave delivers across the board—food, drinks, service, and vibes. Definitely a top-tier spot and one I’ll absolutely be coming back to !

This is absolutely one of our favorite places to dine. We took my father here for a birthday meal and they did not disappoint. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is warm and comforting with the best music playing to set the tone. Lloyd is a great server, he's very attentive, engaging and kind. Well worth the price.

Food is excellent. If it was close to my home I would go broke eating here. Music is a little too loud but service was pleasant and prompt. Food is day the food was excellent. The prickly pear martini was great but ask for only one pump of syrup. Great for watching sports, as well as a romantic date. Definitely a place to visit.
